On an Alaskan cruise we stopped in Juneau. Ah, so convenient were all the jewelry shops right across the street. Many had people outside trying to get you in. Most with high powered sales pitches. Then one smaller shop with beautiful merchandise and friendly, helpful employees who you felt actually wanted to help you get just what you were looking for. NOT being very trusting made it hard to believe that I could buy this gorgeous tanzanite for so, so much less then the competitors. I was then directed to the owner Raj. What a joy!

Welcome 2012 Cruisers!

Excited to see the ships rolling in with lots of visitors to Alaska! A lot of first time visitors but quiet a few folks visiting again. Some can qualify to be called 'locals' but will not get the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) which is recieved by every Alaskan, young or old!

We are located in the downtown where all the ships dock. We are closest to the City Terminus Dock. It is also where the famous Mount Roberts Tram is located. A beautiful ride up to the mountains and it is a different world! We are happy to take visitors up the tram while they are in port.
